Purple Clan

The Purple Clan are a Cabal of Artificial Intelligences that came from "The Net", they wish to use the secret of the Indigo Child to become the dominant species on the Earth and make humanity their eternal slaves. If Jade tells the Indigo Prophecy to the AI at the end of the game, Earth is plunged into an permanent ice age, with the surface becoming near unlivable, and humanity driven to the brink of extinction. The Purple Clan has only recently revealed itself, and is the only rival clan of the Orange Clan. Since they do not have the Oracle to assist them in finding the Indigo Child, because Lucas possesses the powers of the Oracle, they work to manipulate him to help them complete the Indigo Prophecy. How the Purple Clan came into existence is left unknown but as the player progresses through the game, several references are made of the Purple Clan, such as E-mails warning of a powerful Virus spreading throughout the Web.
